Dear NHLA Member,
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I want to thank you for your continued support of the Nevada Hotel & Lodging Association (NHLA). The strength of our association comes from everyone's participation and the support we give one another. There is a great deal of respect for NHLA throughout the country, and you can be proud to be a part of this organization.
Through its membership, the NHLA continue its leadership role in Nevada's largest industry - tourism. This 30-year old statewide Association now represents more than 200 lodging properties and suppliers with more than 300,000 employees throughout Nevada. Details on NHLA Members can be found on the NHLA website at www.nvhotels.com Member Search.
We encourage you to utilize this valuable resource. As the NHLA is our state’s most important clearing house for industry news and information. This well-viewed website is a reliable source for the traveling public, encouraging visitors to book directly with our member hotels through direct links. Operators have access to current regulatory, public policy and tax issues in addition to current operational insights, educational opportunities, product discounts, and networking events. Educators and students will find current industry information and programs fostering careers in hospitality and tourism. Plus the www.nvhotels.com website is also a good place to resource issues of concern and spokespersons for interviews.
With each challenge the industry faces in Nevada, the NHLA board works to direct or redirect association initiatives and programming to meet important business needs. You are invited to join any of several important industry committees as an NHLA member including: governmental affairs, education, diversity, staffing, travel and tourism and others as issues arise.
The NHLA Premier and Allied supplier members, are loyal industry supporters. We encourage you to access them via a convenient Buyer's Guide. Search for any part of a name, product or description. Inquire about the value-added partnership programs that offer increased savings on products and services. These members provide other members with special service and money-saving opportunities.
These are just a few of the many benefits that the NHLA returns to members. On behalf of the board of directors, I encourage you to participate actively with this important industry trade group. If you are not a member, join now and join the united voice that is protecting and promoting your business, career and our state’s economy.
