Representation

A single voice is often unheard, but over 200,000 voices cannot be ignored particularly when led by a team of industry experts.

The governmental affairs team of NHLA works to protect and promote the interests of the Nevada lodging industry in the legislative, regulatory and tax administration arenas. CEO Al Barry works closely with elected officials, state and federal leaders, and the Nevada hotel industry executives regarding our lodging, tourism, travel and business issues. Education

NHLA offers a variety of industry related educational programs and seminars at discounted or no charge to our members. Expert professionals from respective fields are scheduled to present at NHLA seminars which are held at various times either in Southern or Northern Nevada. Member Employee Rewards Benefits

The Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association has recently added a high value member employee rewards program to the ever-growing package of membership benefits. The program offers discounts provided by more than 100,000 merchants including Macy's, Best Buy, Walgreens, Costco, Walmart, CVS, Nordstrom and thousands of other popular retailers and service providers. The program also offers discounts through MetLife on home and auto insurance. The member employee rewards program is free for NHLA members, their employees and employees' families. Hospitality News Wire

A weekly news brief from Nevada Hotel & Lodging Association is published containing industry news as well as NHLA updates including new benefits, new members, member news and upcoming events. All members receive this complimentary publication. Hospitality News Wire is dispatched weekly to nearly 2,000 hotel executives and department heads. Bidding Hotels-Donations for Dues

Members will have the unique opportunity to donate rooms, goods and services for NHLA to auction through the Bidding Hotels auction program. 50% of the net proceeds from an auction sale will be credited to the NHLA dues account for the member making the donation. Once the annual dues total is satisfied, 50% of the net proceeds will be paid directly to the member from auction sales.
