We have a fun summer ahead. We are often told “NHLA is the most active and robust association ever!” We strive to host events and activities that are of interest and value to our wide range of members throughout the state. Take a look at some coming your way over the next couple of months.

We kick off the month of June with a Behind the Scenes tour of Main Street Station on June 9. This iconic property houses many treasures of yesteryear that we will have the privilege of seeing on the guided tour. We will end with a tasting in Triple 7 Brewery. Still time to register.

On June 16, our Emerging Leaders mentor program participants will meet at Panevino’s Lounge for a fun get together, beverages, appetizers and the chance to talk about the mentoring experience. Each participant will receive a certificate of completion at this event. Participants can RSVP to attend here.

Who can clean over a million towels and linens each year? The MGM Grand Laundry can and does. Join us on a tour June 21 of this phenomenal facility.

Madame Tussaud’s will be our next stop in our Behind the Scenes adventures. We will take a look at this extraordinary venue of wax creations so true-to-life on June 28. We will enjoy a complimentary cocktail at the conclusion of the event. Join us.

Northern Nevada members will show us their strategy skills as we have a fun team building experience in the Puzzle Escape Rooms in Reno on June 30. Teams of 5 will figure out the clues for their assigned room to move from level to level with a final escape. Who can do it the quickest? Escape with us.

July 12 our Emerging Leaders will host a panel of young, successful professionals answering questions about how they reached the levels where they currently hold positions of responsibility and leadership. Best practices and tips for achieving more in less time will be discussed. Don’t miss it.

July is packed with Behind the Scenes fun. On July 13, we will go behind the scenes at the Mandalay Bay Shark Reef to learn more about this facility and what is involved in taking care of these massive creatures. Join us.

July 21 we will have our second tour at the magnificent Resorts World. We visited as a group last year upon opening; however, not everything was in place or open yet. We will have the privilege of a guided tour to see what is new at the beautiful property. Come along.

July 27 DTN Productions will present a seminar at the Atlantis in Reno. Deborah Thomas-Nininger will talk about Communication Essentials and Generational Communication. Deborah is a renowned presenter, coach and trainer so be sure to join us for this valuable informational activity.
