Exciting news! The Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association has launched a fun, new program for our members. Behind the Scenes is featured on the new NHLA YouTube channel.
NHLA has many committees comprised of leaders in various areas including social media. This year’s committee is dynamic and cutting-edge. Led by Derek Schoen with Aria as our chairperson of the committee, we have embarked on new social media projects.
Go Behind the Scenes with NHLA
The newest program, Behind the Scenes, is the idea of Shay Velich and Nicole Marshall. It features select members or partners in their “hidden gem” areas within their companies. The video interviews are conducted by professional photographer Shay Velich with Shay Velich Studio and Nicole Marshall with Staybridge Suites. Shay expertly handles the videography and still photos as well as editing the piece.
Social media committee member Danielle Deremo with Internet Marketing Inc. posts the video on the NHLA YouTube channel ensuring it is handled properly and tagged appropriately.
Once the video is live online, member Ronna Timpa with Workplace ESL Solutions posts it on our other social channels including Facebook and LinkedIn. The link to the channel is also found on www.nvhotels.com Master Key blog page.
“This is a fun, as well as productive, new program for us,” states Diane Gandy, NHLA President. “Our social media committee is really in tune with social trends and digital photography and marketing. We are very fortunate to have such a dynamic team.”
