The NHLA Women in Lodging philanthropy committee is pleased to provide support and assistance for Dress for Success Southern Nevada. Several NHLA WIL volunteers have signed up to assist at the upcoming “Shop for Success” fundraiser taking place April 30 and May 1.
Dress for Success Southern Nevada provides valuable resources for disadvantaged women in our valley who are interested in getting into the workplace. For many reasons women may need assistance in getting started in a new job or career. One of the most important first steps is to be sure proper business attire is available. Dressing for success is a crucial component when interviewing and working.
Dress for Success has an amazing boutique
Dress for Success Southern Nevada provides a huge service to the women in our community. They maintain a boutique filled with business clothing, shoes and accessories. Through the generosity of residents and businesses in Las Vegas, the boutique finds it necessary to offer “Shop for Success” events throughout the year. With these shopping activities, DFS is able to generate funds for the organization as well as make room for new inventory.

What does that mean to us? Let’s shop until we drop! The Shop for Success event taking place this next weekend offers shoppers an opportunity to purchase high-end apparel and accessories at reduced prices.
Where can you buy a quality suit for $20 or skirts for $6? At the Shop for Success sale! Come by, say hello to our wonderful Women in Lodging volunteers and restock your wardrobe. You will be helping DFS provide the ultimate in ongoing services to the women in need in Southern Nevada.
Where and when is this amazing sale?
The Shop for Success event will take place at 4443 West Decatur Blvd. Westland Fair Shopping Center. The center is on the corner of W. Charleston and Decatur in the Walmart Shopping Center next to CiCi’s Pizza. The event takes place Saturday, April 30 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and again on Sunday, May 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
