Lake Las Vegas is a resort area located about 20 minutes southeast of Henderson. The Montelago Village area offers a few stores and restaurants while high end resorts are located further up nestled in the hills. One of the nicest is the Westin Lake Las Vegas.
Lake Las Vegas has had high profile challenges over the years but is enjoying an exciting revival with the presence of the nice resorts and golf courses. Reflection Bay reopened and has been restored to a lush golf course. Luxuries homes and mansions can be seen throughout the winding hills. New restaurants are opening in the village area, as well.
Spread out a blanket and enjoy the concert
Weekend concerts are provided every Saturday night during the summer months. They usually perform on a floating stage upon the lake. Admission is free and it is really enjoyable to bring a blanket or low chairs for enjoying the summer air and music.

The bands include something for everyone: Jazz, rock, oldies and country. The sound system is good and the lights twinkle off the lake’s reflection. Be prepared to do some dancing on the grass as the music moves you.
