Congratulations, Jim Kenney! Jim has been selected as the NHLA Volunteer of the Quarter. We appreciate his service and all of Jim’s contributions to the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association and the industry.

Jim’s company, Catalytic PURE AIR LLC, is the supplier for the hotel and casino industry with point of use air purifiers to improve indoor air quality. Jim serves on the NHLA Sustainability Committee. The NHLA Sustainability Committee promotes and shares sustainable, environmentally innovative practices among NHLA members. Catalytic PURE AIR LLC was the sponsor for the 2014 Sustainability Award for the Stars of the Industry Gala and is also sponsoring the award this year.

NHLA fall event at the Peppermill

Jim is working with the team at Peppermill in preparation of a member event on September 15. The event will include a networking session and a tour of one of the most impressive geothermal facilities in the country and the only one in the industry.

Jim serves on the newly formed NHLA Northern Nevada council. He is instrumental in guiding NHLA in efforts to provide the most suitable and needed resources for the NNV members.

As the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association is member-based, it is vital that we have the input of our members to ensure maximum benefits are provided. With volunteers like Jim, we are able to increase visibility, education and advocacy for our members.

Jim enjoys being a Northern Nevada resident

Jim, his wife Lynette and their two children live in Reno, NV and enjoy the outdoor opportunities of Lake Tahoe and Northern Nevada.
