Golf with the Industry on May 12
NHLA’s annual hospitality golf tournament will take place on May 12 at Revere in Henderson. Sign up to play or sponsor. Registration fee includes the round of golf, boxed breakfast and food stations on the course. A raffle will take place following the tournaments and prizes will be awarded, as well. Proceeds benefit the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association scholarship fund.
Be recognized as a Guest Service Professional
Join colleagues and peers on May 16 at TISOH for a study workshop and exam to achieve the Certified Guest Service Professional (CGSP) designation from the American Hotel and Lodging Association Educational Institute. This esteemed designation shows that the recipient has exemplary guest service skills, the most important skill in the hospitality industry. Sign up now.
Meet the Leaders in Northern Nevada on May 17
Join us for a dynamic and inspiring NHLA event hosted by Whitney Peak Hotel on May 17 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. We will begin with some time for social networking and then move into a panel discussion with some of the most impressive leaders in the industry and community in Northern Nevada. Need some tips and tricks in using Excel?
Here’s your chance, Northern Nevada members. On May 18 NHLA member New Horizons Learning Group will present a class that focuses on tips and shortcuts in using Excel functions and analyzing data with pivot tables and pivot charts. The class will be held at the New Horizons Learning Group center from 9:00-11:00 a.m. NHLA members attend free; space is limited so sign up now.
