Greg J. Chase is an accomplished hospitality professional known for his engaging, passionate speaking style and a unique ability to connect emotionally with his audiences. Over the last decade, he has worked for a diverse range of prestigious organizations, including hospitality giants and military institutions.

In his current role as Director of Guest Experience for New York-New York Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Greg is responsible for the development & implementation of strategic guest service strategies. In his previous role as Learning & Development manager, he was responsible for launching leadership development initiatives for senior executives, mentorship programs and innovative guest service training programs utilizing his theory of “Trainertainment.” Under his leadership, Greg’s training team won the ASTD Tribute to Learning Award, which recognizes results derived from improving human performance, for two consecutive years.
Creating programs for 60,000 employees
Prior to his roles at New York-New York, Greg was Senior Learning & Development Specialist for MGM Resorts International. There, he designed and delivered leadership development, manager on-boarding and customer service training programs for the company’s 60,000 employees. He started his career working with The Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL, where he served as a Guest Services Manager & Sous Chef. Greg also works with the United States Navy’s Adopt-A-Ship program, presenting on-board learning opportunities for crews of US Navy ships.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia in Hotel and Restaurant Management and is certified by The Protocol School of Washington® as an Etiquette & International Protocol Consultant. He is completing a Master’s of Science degree in Organizational Psychology. Greg is a Master Graduate of Rapport Leadership International and is a certified facilitator for The Pacific Institute in Seattle, Washington. He was named to the Southern Nevada Hotel Concierge Association Board of Advisors and is an active member of the American Society for Training and Development, the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association and the Society for Human Resource Management.
