Nancy Taylor is the Call Center Manager for Boyd Gaming Corporation. She has been with the company for nearly 28 years and currently oversees the reservation call center handling all types of hotel reservations for the Boyd Gaming company. Learn more about Nancy.

Nancy has been an active member in NHLA and our Women in Lodging division for several years. We asked Nancy what she found to be worthwhile in being an engaged member

“Woman power. I always love seeing other women of all ages and places in their career be celebrated for their confidence and accomplishments. Having examples of other women in the business to follow and look up to helps me be more confident and enriches my life both professionally and personally. You will often see me in the crowd with a tissue to my eye because so many stories resonate with me,” notes Nancy.

We asked Nancy what her ideal vacation would be if money as not a factor. “Two weeks in England, Scotland and Ireland, hop over to Iceland for a few days and then close it out on the beaches and over the water of Aruba for a week,” Nancy states.

Nancy says her favorite season is winter because as a child she loved cold weather. Also, the best sports are being played during winter months. She smiles and says, “Go Knights Go!” She loves wearing sweaters and having to put a beautiful coat on with a fancy scarf. Snuggling up on the couch with a Seattle Seahawks blanket to watch the football game is the best way to spend a lazy, cold afternoon.

Nancy’s advice to others considering participating in NHLA WIL is to Just do it! Take advantage of the connections, seminars, and fun outings that all support you and all women in our successes and joys of being professional women.
