The Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association Board of Directors is comprised of hospitality leaders from throughout the state. These board members hold high level executive positions in a broad spectrum of hotels. Each board member has the responsibility in working with the association staff and members to ensure the utmost in member resources and advocacy are provided. We are pleased to introduce long-time board member Patrick Flynn.
Patrick Flynn is the executive director of hotel operations, sales and catering at Peppermill Resort Spa Casino. Patrick has more than 28 years of hotel and gaming experience, ranging from finance to hotel operations.

Patrick is an active community member
Patrick has served on the council for the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada, the board of directors of the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association, Nevada Humane Society Board of Directors, as well as the board of directors for the Reno Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority.
He is a member of Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International, and The Boys and Girls Club. He earned his B.A. in Business Administration at the University of Nevada, Reno and a Hospitality Management Diploma from the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
Peppermill supports NHLA
The Peppermill Resort Spa Casino under Patrick’s leadership has provided many activities and resources for NHLA. Each year a social networking event is held at the Peppermill. In September an event involving networking, sustainability information and tour of the impressive geothermal facilities was held at the Peppermill. Educational events also are held by NHLA at the Peppermill throughout the year.
The Peppermill was the recipient of the prestigious Sustainability Leader award at the 2014 Stars of the Industry Hospitality Awards Gala.
