Chairing the Ambassador’s Circle, getting involved
Ronna serves on various committees including chairing the Ambassador’s Circle. This group exists to welcome new members and make sure they are comfortable and well-informed of the many benefits of membership. The team under Ronna’s guidance also contacts member companies that have not been involved or participating to ensure we have representatives to take advantage of the NHLA opportunities.
Ronna is also on the executive council for Women in Lodging, the education committee and the Stars of the Industry committee. She lives and breathes the industry and loves to be in front of members exuding her enthusiasm.
Housekeeping is in Ronna’s heart
Ronna’s true business love is working with housekeeping employees within state and national hotels. She teaches Workplace ESL, removing language barriers that can negatively impact a business. Her belief is by empowering employees in improving their second-language skills, the development and productivity will substantially increase. She has worked with hotel employees at many different organizations throughout Nevada.

Ronna’s TEDx presentation a big success

Being asked to speak at a TEDx talk and passing all of the rigorous requirements is an honor in itself. To offer a spectacular 16 minute presentation that was received extremely well by all attendees is a major accomplishment. Congratulations, Ronna!

States Diane Gandy, NHLA President, “We are so fortunate to have Ronna on the member team. She is a phenomenal person and makes everything better when she is involved. We appreciate her contributions immensely.”
