In partnership with the Timothy S Y Lam Foundation, NHLA will present the next Certified Guest Service Professional workshop and exam on September 19. The event will take place at TISOH (The International School of Hospitality) beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Industry professionals looking to expand their credentials should consider taking the CGSP course and completing the exam. Over 110 NHLA members have successfully passed the exam and have earned their Certified Guest Service Professional designation.

The CGSP certification is the highest in the industry recognizing exemplary guest service skills. In the hospitality industry, everyone must possess exceptional skills when it comes to working with guests and visitors. Competition is high in this industry and hotels that feature team members who truly provide the ultimate in guest service are the most successful.

The workshop is approximately 90 minutes and covers the basics of the exam. The certified and accredited instructor, Mr. Anthony Lai, clearly takes each participant through pertinent review in preparation for the exam. The exam is approximately an hour.
Upon successful completion of the exam, the participant will receive a certificate and a lapel pin to proudly display. By completing the program, supervisors are made aware of the importance a team member puts upon excelling at guest service skills.
