Nevada Reading Week is March 2-March 6 and the NHLA Next Reigning Generation (NRG) team will be volunteering for this important and fun event.
Share the Power
Sharing the power of reading while visiting a local school will be demonstrated by reading to a classroom. Who doesn’t remember the fun of having an adult read a story when we were young? Volunteers will be assigned time slots to have a turn reading to the children at the school throughout the week. It is a small amount of time but a huge contribution to our community youth.

The volunteer activity is in conjunction with the amazing team at NHLA member hotel Vdara Hotel and Spa. Leading the project is Andy Meese, Director of Hotel Operations. The school chosen for the activities is Lewis E. Rowe Elementary School. To volunteer for this event, contact us.
States Andy Meese, “Nevada Reading Week is such a great opportunity to give back to the most important investment in our community, the children of Southern Nevada!”
