There’s always something new and exciting happening in Las Vegas and at the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. One of the latest initiatives could help save lives!
The Riviera Hotel & Casino was purchased by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority in February for convention center expansion. While plans are being developed to make way for the Las Vegas Convention Center District, the property is being put to good use. Now, the facility is being utilized by multiple agencies across the United States as a training ground for emergency response exercises.

Oscar’s special invitation

I’d also like to extend an invitation for community members to learn about the importance of tourism in Southern Nevada by joining the LVCVA’s Las Vegas Host Committee. Signing up as an ambassador is simple. You can register on our website www.lvcva.com/host or email our office at [email protected]. It costs nothing other than your commitment to better our community.
Join the #TourismMatters conversation with us @VegasHosts!
As always, thank you for your support of our #1 industry in Southern Nevada: Tourism!
