As we get ready to say good-bye in the next few weeks to a long, hot summer, many people are getting children ready to go back to school, may be going back to school themselves or are looking at activities coming up in the busy autumn months ahead. NHLA has several events coming up.
Checking in on the mentor program progress

The SNV Women in Lodging mentor program kicked off the summer session on July 19 with 26 participants. On August 15, the participants and leadership team will gather at Tahiti Village for time to review the progress so far and talk about the remainder of the program. The next WIL SNV mentor program is scheduled for January. The next WIL NNV mentor program will begin in October.
NHLA presence at Governor’s Conference
On August 17, NHLA will have a booth at the State of Nevada Department of Business and Industry Governor’s Conference in Reno. The event is comprised of new businesses as well as companies wishing to grow their business. The team at NHLA is partnering with member Catalytic Pure Air at this event and is looking forward to meeting some of the business owners in NNV. More info.
