Thank you for joining NHLA Women in Lodging. We are so excited to have you as a member as we grow this important organization for Nevada and our women in the industry.
The NHLA WIL is committed to the professional development of women in lodging, promoting long-term careers in hospitality, and enhancing professionalism and success for women. The organization accomplishes its mission through educational programming, structured mentoring, networking opportunities, and philanthropic and community support.
General information about WIL can be found here.
Several WIL events are offered throughout the year. Be sure to check the event calendar on www.nvhotels.com frequently. You will also now receive communication regarding events and activities as well as our monthly WIL newsletter.
We have two committees associated with WIL: Mentoring and Philanthropy. Please let us know which committee may be of interest to you. Learn about the committees.
We are very proud of our mentor program. We offer two sessions in Southern Nevada each year: One in January and one in July and one session in May in Northern Nevada. The sessions are 10 weeks and we pair mentors with mentees determined by their areas of interest. This is a widely popular program within WIL. Read more.
We are pleased to offer a WIL grant open to all qualified WIL members. The $1000 grant is sponsored by our partner The Timothy S Y Lam Foundation. More info.
