NHLA member Orkin Commercial presents demonstration

  Bed Bugs. Rodents. Cockroaches. Bees. Ants. Pests can be much more than a nuisance - they can become a threat to your business and potentially your health. Join us on March 2 as our member, Orkin Commercial, discusses best practices and tips for pest control in hotels and food outlets. A highlight of the presentation includes a highly trained professional dog that is an expert in bed bug detection from various life cycles including eggs to adults. The bedbug detecting dog will demonstrate his skills in finding bed bugs in elusive places for our attendees. It will be impressive! No charge for NHLA members. Register.

Let's learn to play golf!


 

We will start at UNLV on March 23, then move to Top Golf on March 30 and April 6, and end with a round of golf at Angel Park on April 13. This opportunity is open to all NHLA members and what an opportunity it is! Join us for fun, laughter and golf lessons.


Where will you be on April 30?


 

We hope you are joining us for the inaugural Great Chef Run hosted by the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Foundation. The 5K will take place at the Kellogg Zaher Park 8:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Once the race is finished, participants can relax and enjoy music, entertainment, raffle prizes, local chef demos and tastings along with food trucks offering delicious food options. Proceeds from this fun event will benefit the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Foundation (NHLF) scholarship fund. Our mission is to help eligible employees in the hospitality business with education, certifications and training programs so they can advance within the Nevada hospitality industry. We are looking for volunteers to join us in creating, organizing and managing this fantastic industry event.


Join us for our 3rd Annual Vendor Showcase

  Meet the Leading Industry Vendors and Hotel Leaders at our upcoming Vendor Showcase on March 24. We will visit with the vendors and see the latest greatest products and services followed by supply chain professionals panel discussing what the challenges look like for 2022. Tables are available for vendors. A raffle for a $500 Amazon gift card will take place during the vendor showcase along with other prizes throughout the morning.
