Mentees met the Mentors

  Mentees in our 2026 mentor program had an interesting and fun experience meeting some of the most respected leaders in the hospitality industry at our recent Meet the Mentors event. Mentors shared some tips for success and answered many questions. Thank you to our mentors, the NHLA mentor ambassadors and our mentees for participating in this event and to Park MGM for the great meeting venue.

Reputation Management session a great success

  Our Emerging leaders along with other NHLA members had a wonderful experience meeting our guest presenter, Deborah Thomas Nininger, at our reputation management seminar last week. Deborah shared many ideas for maintaining an exemplary reputation and develop personal branding. Thank you to Deborah for your guidance and wisdom. Also, a big thank you to the Caesars' team for fantastic accommodations.

We have almost 200 NHLA members participating in our Women in Lodging (WIL) group. WIL is committed to the professional development and support of women in the hospitality industry. We provide opportunities for women to obtain leadership competencies through certifications, seminars, classes and events. Through educational programming, structured mentoring, networking opportunities and philanthropic endeavors, WIL provides the forum for professional women to gain career momentum and connect with other industry leaders.
