Nicole Marshall, General Manager of Siegel Suites Select Flamingo, serves on the NHLA Board of Directors and is one of our most popular members.
Nicole can be seen at all of our events assisting in various ways. Whether she is emceeing an event, selling raffle tickets with a memorable hat on her head, teaching Excel classes, helping at registration, or attending to many activities, Nicole always has a smile on her face. She is genuine, kind, pleasant and a joy for all to know.
In 2007, having worked her way up to being a mortgage underwriter, Nicole Marshall found herself in an unstable field due to the mortgage crisis. Doing what she swore she would never do, she started to look towards the bright lights of the Strip.
Nicole applied for the position of Executive Administrative Assistant at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino. On her second interview she landed the job after assisting the Hotel General Manager with an Excel question. That position sealed Nicole’s fate for the better. One of her main tasks was to read, analyze and respond to the surveys that came in. Nicole found she had a passion for customer service. Through many evolving positions and ownership at the Tropicana, Nicole grew her hospitality knowledge and passion and became Hilton Certified Trainer. It was in 2007 that she was also introduced to NHLA.
In 2013 she was recruited to be the Director of Sales at Staybridge Suites. Nicole is not a salesperson so after adamantly declining many times, she finally decided to take the plunge. Nicole excelled at that position and the property had record numbers for the 3 years she was there. Nicole often assisted with F&B as well as front desk operations as well as took over L&D for the property as well as becoming an IHG Certified Revenue Manager . In 2016 Siegel Group recruited Nicole as they were opening a new hotel brand and needed someone with some experience with extended stay hotels.
During her tenure at Siegel Group, Nicole ran a hotel property for 3 years, helping build the hotel brand. In 2019 she was promoted to Regional Manager and in 2020 also took over the role as Revenue Manager.
