The NHLA 2026 mentorship program is underway with over 100 participants.  The program pairs experienced leaders with NHLA hotel members who would like to learn more about the industry, enhance their careers, and develop a clear path to their goals.

The mission of the annual NHLA mentor program is to provide hotel members with the opportunity to meet industry professionals who want to share their experience, knowledge and advice. Through the mentoring program mentees receive guidance and support as they explore career enhancement and advancement.  The program is open to all members working within an NHLA hotel member company.

The mentor program provides professional development opportunities and experiences for our hotel members. Mentees are selected through an application process and paired with mentors based on the mentees’ areas of interest and availability of the mentors.

Mentees enjoy a memorable, exciting experience

The NHLA mentor program is designed to fulfill various purposes. For mentees, it provides resources for a robust and fun learning experience. It also gives them a chance to broaden their career horizons by exploring other departments or industry fields.

If participating as a mentor, the program allows experienced professionals to share their expertise, knowledge and guidance with mentees looking for career advancement and exploration and professional growth.

The program is a 10-week commitment for both parties – mentors and mentees.  Two-way communication is essential for the success of the program. Both the mentor and the mentee should be active participants in the program.  This mentor program is completely full.

Good luck to our mentees as they have a unique and valuable experience in the NHLA 2026 mentor program.  A huge thank you to all of our leaders who so willingly dedicate time to the program and to their individual mentees.  Sharing your tips and guidance will be a lifetime investment for our up-and-coming leaders.
