The 15th Annual NHLA Stars of the Industry Hospitality Awards Gala will take place on October 15 at Resorts World. The annual hospitality awards gala is one of the most popular events in the industry as we recognize the very talented individuals in our esteemed hospitality industry.
The nomination process was open to all NHLA hotel members. This year we had a record number of nomination submissions…217! Our selection committee had their work cut out for them. Each and every nomination was carefully reviewed and a recipient of each category award was chosen. No one outside the voting committee knows who the ultimate winner is. All nominees are recognized and celebrated for their impressive service and contributions to the hotel industry in Nevada. Recipients receive beautiful awards on stage during the program.
The event will open with an upscale reception at 4:30 p.m. and will provide a photo booth, step and repeat pictures, an outstanding silent auction and time to catch up with friends and colleagues. Bars will be available for cocktail and wine purchase.
The dinner and program will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m. with an opening welcome from our emcee this year, Celine Ngo and our Chairman of the Board, Andy Meese.
Dinner will commence and then the NHLA president, Diane Gandy, will take the stage and give out some special awards. Following, the sponsors will begin giving out awards for the categories they chose to sponsor.
There is so much excitement and pride in the ballroom at each of the galas. It is a time to show our appreciation to the outstanding people who make the hospitality in our great state unsurpassable. Their ongoing service and goal to make each guest’s visit comfortable and memorable is on display. Typically, the leaders for the areas the nominees represent are in attendance and beaming with pride for their team members.
